Curiosity of the Day: Align Your Life

I drew this card once before, now as we’re approaching the Super New Moon and Chinese New Year, it’s time again, to review the old and start anew.

This inquiry card inspires us to take a deeper look at our lives, our finances, health, relationships and state of mind. We’re cyclical beings, change is the only constant in life. It’s normal to outgrow some thing, some one, even in just a short period of time.

The past years living with COVID has changed all of us, our habits, ideas, or even who we are. It’s now the beginning of the end for this pandemic, some countries are going completely out of the lockdowns and lifting all the measurements. We can expect to return to the offices 100%, hug our loved ones, shop anywhere anytime, travel, and have full social lives again.

However, when we finally do return to “normal”, we are no longer the persons we once were. And the people we return to, aren’t the exact same version they were before either. And that’s okay, we are supposed to change, to evolve, to grow.

Let’s pause here for a second and think about what has changed for us, which parts of the old normal we want to return to, and which parts should be left behind forever.

I’ve definitely turned into a quieter and more introverted person. I spent more times with books and my thoughts. I started journaling and meditating daily again. I embraced my old hobbies/interests in a new light. I shopped a lot less and material things no longer have that “hold” on me like they used to. I stopped drinking completely, became a pescatarian and love it. I distanced myself from habits, thoughts, people, events that drain my energy and are not in alignment with my life.

It’s hard to let go of old habits and old “friends” however toxic they may be, so I’m proud of myself for having made certain changes💪🏼.

In this New Lunar Year 🐯, under the Aquarius new moon, I’ll continue being honest with myself, pursuing enlightenment and finding my path. Most importantly, I choose to be at peace with myself.

How about you?
