Curiosity of the Day: Three of Cups

The last time I drew this card for my friend, it showed up reversed. Now I’m curious to find out what the message it has for us, when it’s upright. The last time it was during the super full moon in Scorpio, and this time, we have the super new moon in Sagittarius 🌚.

The Suit of Cups represents emotions, feelings and relationships, and the number three stands for growth, creativity and expression. The Three of Cups brings positive omens: good understanding of ones own emotion, good fortune and good company.

They say all good things come in threes: bliss, enchantment and great joy. There may also be joyous social events ahead, it’s indeed time for rejoicing, and under the current circumstance, be safe while doing it. If you’re looking for an one last-career-personal-development-of-the-year, do seek out those sincere allies of yours, invest time in the people who cares about you. Draw the energy of the Earth to bring abundance, fruition and manifestation into your life.

Aside from the good fortune and good company, this card is also about the “feelings”. Life will become a feast if we nurture beyond ourselves and learn to retain our emotional independence.

Under the new moon solar eclipse in Sagittarius, we (will) realise that our deepest fears are essentially the questions asked by our wildest dreams. During this period of time, give ourselves the space to connect with our own emotions, our true purpose, passion and mission. Just like the Three of Cups, it all comes down to the quality of feelings: be honest and at the same time, be aware of insolence.
