Curiousity of the Day: Leap

By

How’s your week? Mine started off super relaxing, and now I’m drowning in emails. Believe it or not, it has nothing to do with procrastination ๐Ÿ˜‚.

They say life happens for the curious, but life bends for the courageous. The card Leap definitely resonates with this theory. It’s an action card, it demands action from us.

The Universe wants to support us, like the wind supports birds’ wings. But first, we need to leap – to throw ourselves out there, up in the air.

If you already know what you’re being called to jump towards or away from, when you see this card, then I’m very happy for you. Don’t be scared to make the move dearie. This card is the sign and “permission” you have been waiting for, to take the leap of faith.

If you aren’t sure yet, that’s okay, pay attention to your surroundings and opportunities. Think about the events that happened or are still happening around you between end of April and now. On April 28, Pluto goes into a 6 months long retrograde. Pluto is like the “cleaner” of the Universe, who unravels and cleanse the paths of all things, people, beliefs that we hold onto, but are no longer suitable for us. This cleanse is inevitable, so why not be brave, proactive, and clear the garden of your life and mind now?

When things are about to end, or when our lives are about to change, we tend to get scared and become hesitant, although we know those new beginnings are happening for the better. In order to be reborn, something needs to die first. And often we react to change the same way we would react to death, we resist it at all costs. We make up excuses or even self-sabotage, just so that we could stay exactly where we are, repeating the same patterns while telling ourselves: better the devil we know.

This is perfectly normal, I’ve also had my fair share of staying in a toxic environment, because “I’m uncertain whether the grass is greener on the other side”, and soon regret that I did not take the leap of faith when I had the chance. In the midst of the inevitable changes brought to us by Pluto, we need to learn from this planet that the “death” of the familiar, is not the end, it’s quite the opposite, it points us towards the new beginning. In the never-ending cycle of death and rebirth, we develop and evolve.

We have just welcomed the Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. Look at this beautiful autumn season, nature encourages the trees to loosen their grips, to allow what once was so full of life, to fall away. For a moment, it feels like nothing will ever grow again, but in the morn of spring, something that’s even more glorious than before, is born. And that, is the true beauty of letting go.

“But what if I fall?”

“Oh darling, what if you fly?”
