Curiosity of the Day: Knight of Coins

I don’t know about you, but it has been quite a week for me. My Monday started stressful and a bit surreal, did something that’s completely out-of-my-comfort zone. The rest of the week was followed by some expectations, excitement and disappointment, but oh well, nothing I didn’t anticipate. At the end of the day, how people react is based on their own perception and level of understanding, it has nothing to do with you, nor could you change anything.

The card I received, is the Knight of Coins. I really love how this card is presented in this deck. The Knight looks like he has returned with victory, ready to accept all the roses and kisses, and yet, there’s quite an ambiguity to his glory.

The Knight of Coins is usually perceived as a trustworthy, reliable but perhaps not very imaginative fella. He stands for financial stability and will always take care of those whom he loves. If you’re seeking love, a young man with these qualities might enter your life, he could be a Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo.

Figuratively, this card could mean active progress in the areas of finance, wealth or property. The Knight of Coins is slow and steady, stable and assured. This Knight prefers the straight and narrow path – rather safe than sorry. In prosperous times, he is seen as conservative or even overly cautious. But in tougher times, he is the one who can be relied on. If you’re planning to make big decisions, examine the environmental factors first. If all’s well with little to no foreseeable complications, then be bold and make the move! If you see turbulence and troubled water ahead, tread with caution, perhaps you should stay where you are for the time being.

This card is all about our abilities to arrange our lives. To turn insights into practical solutions, instead of sweeping the problems under the rug. Whether we believe it ourselves or not, we all have tremendous strength and almost unlimited inner power. It’s time for us to find our way back to the sun, to the fire and the source of life, by understanding our own purposes and needs.

Be careful though, to not let our talents go to waste because of the lack of a connecting circle or framework. Explore the current contradictions, through which we will gain invaluble experiences and develop a deep sense of tranquility. Seek out conflicts at the right time, do not be afraid. Have faith in our ability to solve problems, conquer fears and fulfil our desires.

Accept yourself, accept others as who they are. You cannot change them, but if you want to, you can help them to use their talents to the greatest effect and for the collective good.
